Lamppost Pizza

The pizza is always excellent here. It's nice to have a pizza parlor that still has dine-in for big groups. They have a few separate dining rooms. There are TV monitors to watch several sports at once. The atmosphere is very friendly. They even have an arcade area which has several games, including air hockey. This place to fun for both adults and children.

I live a block away on Brookhurst and I wanted to try this place out for the first time, so I ordered takeout. The experience was not great. The girl at the register wasn’t very customer friendly and would not even look at me. When the card scanner would not take my card, she took it out and just threw it onto the counter in front of me pretty rudely After asking me if I wanted Parmesan and pepper, she tossed the bag onto my box from a couple feet across the gap next to the register. I am tempted to try this place again because it’s so close and people seem to enjoy hanging out there. The refrigerated glasses look like a nice touch. But if the service is garbage then it’s not worth it.

1:15PM. Just ordered a two slice lunch combo. There were maybe three or four customers max inside at the time. When I ordered, at first I asked for two slices of cheese pizza, but the guy at the register told me I would have to wait about 10 minutes because they only had one slice of cheese available at the moment. I saw no issue with that, but told him I would just take the one slice of cheese + one slice of pepperoni pizza instead because we didn't have too much time being on lunch break. He said cool, it'll be right out. But then after that they just completely forgot about my order. Twenty minutes later, after my coworker was completely done eating his food that he ordered after I did, I had to go back to the counter and remind them I was still waiting, and that I will just take it to go now. I should have just asked for my money back. No one actually apologized either. They just told me that someone "screwed up." Pretty much the ultimate screw up. Like how does that happen? No one bothered the see me without my food at the table for 20 minutes? They finally gave me my two small little slices. No extra slice or nothin'. We will definitely always just go to First Class Pizza from now on.

Our LAMPOST, next to us closed down, so we decide to order from here on DoorDash, the worst experience and food ever! The jalapeño poppers were soggy and cold. The sandwich we ordered was subpar with practically no meat on it, the lettuce looked like someone stomped all over it and it felt like it was going to make us sick and the wings were so cold that we had to bake them and they were horrible. To top it all off not one ranch or dipping sauce at all! One of the worst ordering experience ever!
